Harrison Ford was born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago. Her mother was a radio actress and his father an actor, too. He was a dull, uninspired student at Maine Township High School in Illinois. He signed a Hollywood contract but his roles were secondary. He turned to a career in professional carpentry. Later, he became a famous actor (Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark).
