Tulips brighten/lighten our days in early spring. Tulips normally begin emerging/coming out from the ground in March. they are the most colourful of all the spring flowers. They are also the easiest flowers you will ever grow. Just plant the bulbs/tubers in fall/autumn for blossoms the following spring. There are hundreds of beautiful tulips to choose from. Whether you plant them in groups of 10 to 1000, tulips always put on an impressive show. Tulip bulbs develop roots in the fall/autumn and then go dormant/asleep until early spring.

EASTER HOLIDAYS! HAPPY EASTER!
Easter and spring rites remind us how life triumphs over death. Whether in the Christian symbolism of the resurrection or folk traditions of hares and eggs, renewal of life is the common factor. The world is coming alive again after a long and cold winter. This is represented in our symbols of Easter: eggs, baby chicks, fertile rabbits, and plenty of blooms. The magic of spring/Easter means new life, new flowers, and no more snow.

EASTER IS COMING....SPRING IS COMING!
In parts of Northwestern Europe large bonfires, called Easter Fires, are lit on Easter Sunday and Monday. While there are various explanations for the origin of the Easter Fires, the most common Saxon tale is that Easter is a time when spring becomes victorious over winter and the fires were to chase the darkness of winter away. Today, however, the meaning of the fires is simply to bring communities together.

EASTER
Easter, also called Resurrection Day, is a holiday. Among Christians, it is a celebration of Jesus Christ returning from the dead. Christians believe that it is the holiest day in the year. Some people who are not Christians celebrate it as the beginning of Spring.
Today, people celebrate Easter in a number of different ways: they give each other or hide to have children find, colourful Easter eggs; they also give each others candy. Sometimes they even give each other baby ducks, chickens, or bunnies as presents, though this is not done as much as it used to be. These ways of celebrating have nothing to do with Christianity. They come from the spring celebrations from old European nature religions. Christians, and even some people who are not Christians, dress very nicely and go to church on Easter Sunday. Large dinners are usually held on Easter afternoon as well.

SPRING IS
HERE
Spring is here.
Birds are calling.
Skunks are crawling.
Wagging their tails for love!
Spring is here.
Whales are churning
Worms are squirming.
Wagging their tails for love!
What is this thing
Of which I sing
That makes us all bewitched?
What is this thing
That comes in Spring
That gives us all the itch?
Oh, it’s love, it’s love
It’s love, love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love
