An anti-war movement is a social movement, usually in opposition to a particular nation's decision to start o carry on an armed conflict, unconditional of a maybe-existing just cause. The term anti-war can also refer to pacifism, which is the opposition to all use of military force during conflicts.

JOHN LENNON
John Lennon was a British singer-writer and a key member of the Beatles. After the Beatles, Lennon went to have a distinguished solo career. He was also an anti-war activist.
"If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliché/ (an obvious remark) that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal".
