CARNIVAL

Carnival is a festive season which occurs immediately before Lent, and the main events are usually during February. Carnival typically involves a public celebration or parade combining some elements of a circus, mask and public street party.

Some of the best-known carnivals are:

• The carnival of Venice
• Caribbean carnival
• Notting Hill (London)

VALENTINE'S DAY

Saint Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day is on February 14 each year. In the second half or the 20th century, the practice of exchanging cards was extended to all manner of gifts. Such gifts typically include roses and chocolates packed in a red satin, heart-shaped box.

Christmas holidays are gone. We have enjoyed them a lot and, now, we’re looking forward for the next holidays: Easter! It’s going to be a long way till them, but meanwhile we’re ready to learn, play and enjoy as much as we can.
